Simpson
John & Hannah Simpson came from Prince William Co, VA., to Halifax County, VA. They connected to the Organ line when their daughter, Sarah, married Samuel Organ. The Organs also made the move to Halifax Co., VA., about 1782 where they purchased property. Their sons migrated to Wilson Co., Tennessee, when land was set aside as payment for government service during the Revolution and as compensation for other services.
