Obituary

Robert W. Carson

Robert W. Carson, 68, a lifelong resident of Ross township, died at

St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, Tuesday night at 1:30 o’clock. He

had been seriously ill two weeks. The family home is two miles west

of Rossville.

His parents were William and Sarah Carson and he was born in

Clinton county October 10, 1877. On December 29, 1900, he was

married to Minnie Hamilton, who survives. He also leaves a daughter,

Mrs. Clifford Smith, of near Rossville; a grandson, two granddaughters

and one great-grand child; and one brother, Edward Carson, of

Cold Springs, Oklahoma.

After 2 p.m. Thursday, friends may call at the L. E. Moore & Son

Funeral home, where services will be conducted Friday afternoon at

2 o’clock, Rev. Robert L. Sing officiating. Interment in Rossville

Cemetery.
