Obituaries

Minnie Carson

Mrs. Minnie Carson, 68, died at 2 p.m. yesterday at

the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clifford Smith, two miles

northwest of Rossville, following an illness of six months.

She was born in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, November

29, 1879, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Hamilton.

She married Robert Carson in 1900. Mr. Carson died in 1946.

Mrs. Carson was a member of the Rossville Methodist

Church.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Smith are: two sisters,

Mrs. L. D. Davis, Elwood, Indiana, and Mrs. Lillian Gill, of

Noblesville; and a brother, John Hamilton, Frankfort. Three

grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

Friends may call at the L. E. Moore and Son Funeral

Home at Rossville after 7 p.m. tonight.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the

Moore and Son Funeral Home at Rossville with Rev. Stanley

Rolston officiating. Burial will be in the Rossville cemetery.
