MRS. GERTRUDE CARSON
DEAD NEAR ROSSVILLE
Funeral
Will Be Held Friday from
Residence;
Brother Lives
in Frankfort
Rossville, Ind., Dec 5 - Mrs. Gertrude Carson, age 62, widow of
William F. Carson, died Wednesday morning at 4:15 o’clock at her
home southwest of Rossville, after a brief illness. Death was due
to uremic poisoning.
Born August 4, 1866, near Rossville, Mrs. Carson was a daughter
of Thomas and Malinda Collins. On October 2, 1898, she was
married to Mr. Carson who died six weeks ago. At the age of 8
she became a member of the United Brethren church and later be-
came a member of the Methodist church here. Surviving are a
sister, Mrs. John Ninow, San Francisco, Calif., and a brother,
William Collins, of Frankfort.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock
from the late home. The Rev. W. P. Tedford of Frankfort, will
officiate; burial in Rossville cemetery.
